‘maksood’ – luv the accent [pic credits to ASTRO]

One thing disturbed me most on AF’s 2nd concert – that is that little girl dancing in Ebi’s ‘Bailamos’ performance.

It is not Ebi’s fault. It would be the person who choreographed the performance. Yes, it is cute to see kid’s dancing. Like those who danced Zapin in Siti Nurhaliza’s performance. Or those lil 5 / 6 year olds doing the Chinese dance, jumping with ribbons or playing with fans during hari merdeka day etc.

However, seeing Erika (yerp, that is the little girl’s name) bergelek in front of everybody, half-dressed in that bra-like attire, in the company of grown-up men is just an uncomfortable sight. Ebi and his dancers may not be  paedophiles but what if there is ONE among the crowd? Plus, if not careful, it’s little girls like this are the ones that may grow up to be like that tv presenter that most people like to condemn.

Remember, melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya. Sekiranya tidak, jadilah tebu yang dimakan oleh panda. [feeling karam singh walia pliss ]

Thank god Aznil covered her up with his suit. Don’t think that was part of the script.Thank you Aznil.

Maybe I should add another thing – that is the salam. It is Assalamualaikum. Never ended with ‘kung’ and never was ‘selemekom’.
