Monthly grocery shopping is always good. It fills the empty fridge and larder making all the girls in this house becomes healthy-eaters again. We walked to ASDA bringing along our own plastic bag . Recycle!

  1. Fruit and vegetable – Bananas, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, salads, spinach, tenderheart cabbage, garlic, ginger, P-O-T-A-T-O-E-S, tomatoes, green beans.

  2. Tuna in cans

  3. Sardines

  4. One whole chicken

  5. Semi – skimmed milk cartons

  6. Tomato ketchup

  7. Vegetable cooking oil

  8. Black pepper

  9. Rice grain

  10. Cereals

  11. Ice – cream

  12. Whole Grain Bread

  13. Tea, Coffee

  14. Granulated Sugar, Sweetener [we had to use castor sugar during needy times]

  15. Peanut butter spread

I learnt how to cut the whole chicken into smaller chunks today. There were 10 pieces altogether, enough to make 2 portions. Yeay!
