This is it. The final year is starting next week. OMG.. my medical school years will be finishing in no time! Arghh.. cuak.
I’ve just received my reporting instructions for next week through email today. I will be in a department, rumoured to be where the hottest doctors in this hospital are, for 4 weeks. Let’s just hope that I’ll sail through this and be adept at almost anything related to RadiÖlØgy.
Magneto’s power based on MRI concept? Heh..
I chose this rotation because I hoped to;
finally be able to interpret X-Rays and scans in a flash. Malaysians say ‘kacang!’
at the same time, still be able to see a variety of illness through the multi-disciplinary meetings the department have with other specialities.
At the moment, I’m just using the ‘Radiology and Imaging for medical students’ book by David Sutton as my reference. I’ve also got a few RadiÖlÒgy web resources at hand, just in case.
That should be enough for now. Aiming high is good but be realistic. Toksah dok ada web beribu kalo nk baconyer malas. Miahaha. The only concern I have regarding this rotation is the amount of radiation I might be exposed to. I hope it wouldn’t affect my fertility and thyroid function. In the meantime, if you’re curious about anything related to xrays or scans, then let me know. Any insights into this rotation? Most welcome too. Ngaaaaa………
