I saw a Sharingan today. Well.. sort of.

I stumbled upon an interesting ‘scientific explanation’ [NarutoFever.Com] to this special eye ability of the Uchiha Clan (Naruto anime series). This real-life Sharingan however, neither have any unique power nor extra pupils to it. What I saw through the slit-lamp examination was a circular pattern of pigments on the lens.

The patient had a history of trauma and what happened was, part of the iris got stuck. The iris is the part of the eye that gives you it’s colour – brown, green, blue etc. The iris and lens managed to be separated leaving a few of the remnants behind. Thus, the Sharingan appearance. I thought the eye looked so beautiful that I could sit there and stare at it for hours!  The lens was not red like Sasuke but it was pretty just the same.

Another interesting case was of someone having ‘crocodile tears syndrome’. The patient would basically have watery eyes everytime they eat, for there’s a defect in the connections between the eyes and the salivary gland.
I’m afraid that’s all I know about it.

Salam Lebaran Minci,

Foremost, apa atau siapa Sharingan?

Then, the Crocodile Tears Syndrome ni memang ada kat manusia? Lor…thought only kat crocodile je!

Last but not least kepada sahabat ku yang dikasihi, takpelah tak sempat persiapan raya tu, buat ala kadar je lah. Lagipun, bukan ada bebudak yang datang nak kan duit atau kueh raya kan? Lain lah kalau saya kat sana, then semua nak…cam treats or tricks lak ye.

Salam Minci,

Tak habis beraya lagi ke?

hoh yes.. very der nice one that sharingan.. but I thought it was Itachi Uchiha’s skill

Sharingan is this special skill in ninja using the power within the eye. It’s fictional of course. You’d have to watch the anime Naruto to understand how it works and who gets to have that eye ability.
the crocodile tears do happen to people but it is very RARE. by this, i mean the defect and not the ‘pura-pura menangis’ phenomenon.
hoho.. speaking of Trick or Treat.. tetiba rasa mcm nk participate dalam halloween jer this year.. 😛

Kat UK pun sambut halloween ke? Lor…and as what will you be dressing as? Surely not as the momok you tried to disguise as in your earlier posting! For me, it would have to be none other but Don Quixote, hehe.
