The lovely view of Sunway Pyramid at night. Felt like I was entering Aladdin’s palace (carpark)
We were spoilt for choices as to where to eat. Malaysia is definitely a heavenly place for food.
Nak makan kat Friendster?
Or choose from this lot
We finally settled on OLe-Ole Bali.
My authentic Balinese specialty – Ayam Betutu. Enticing! OMG, my portion was really really big. The food was served in a basket with banana leaves as the plate. 🙂 Washed it down with a glass of iced lime tea.
Although its Ole-Ole Bali, they also serve Western food (which my brothers had). And alcoholic drinks. I felt that the setting of the restaurant was very very pretty. You can choose to sit bersila too while enjoying your meal if you want. Perhaps the spoiling features are;
1. Carlsberg lip-lap sign on the walls + Carlsberg coasters. Kinda looked out of place. Wait, on nd thought, maybe it isn’t – bali is after all a tourist attraction and Westerners love the place. Surely, they must cater for this lot, kan..
2. Boring so-called Balinese music. At one point, they put up a disco song. Apakah? Punyalah ala2 tradisional tempat nih. Seriously, someone has got to do some research on the many choices of tradisional instrumental music they can play. Gamelan instruments is a good start. Lol.. pastuh, maybe can have someone dancing in the centre of the restaurant. ha ha..
So apa tunggu lagi, makanlah di sini. Ole-Ole Bali at Sunway Pyramid.
