:: Utterly ridiculous May 28, 2008

There was one particular thing I had always wanted to get off my chest since before the exams.

We’ve never had a formal session or piece of information that explains to us final year medical students as to how the format of our paper exams are going to be. Can you believe that? If we hadnt asked our seniors, we wouldnt know one bit of how to answer or score the paper. Utterly ridiculous!

If it was that paper we sat for every year, it’s fine. But this was a paper that only final year medical students sit for.

One thing I have to clarify though, the exams definitely meets the standards of safe medical practice. It’s the medical curriculum that’s supposed to prepare us for these tests which are disappointing at times.
